Eternity, Romance and Revolution

‘Eternity, Romance and Revolution’ are three words Lei’s been exploring in her journey of design. Lei wants to combine three aspects together by discussing life span, gender and culture identities from shojo manga, mythology to performance and traditional craft.   Showcase at the British Museum, as part of the exhibition Manga: Colour and Style. It is a project in response to shojo manga and other popular cultures/ modern history and culture from Japan and collabrate with fashion designer Kansai Yamamoto. Combine with my own ethoes ‘Eternity, Romance and Revolution’, and create a fashion costume piece.
